However due to the map size and layout and resulting gameplay I'm not sure that the same "fixes" as for PC can be used for Blitz. Well, we all know that Blitz have become more or less centered around mediums just like the PC version so doing a rebalancing to "fix" this might be a good idea. If WG would do a " Blitz Balancing 2.0", i.e a total rebalance of the whole game, they would probably need to do a Sandbox for Blitz as well since the changes are so huge they need to test it in a larger scale before committing to it finally.Īn alternative would be to do what they did with +-1 MM, test it on the smallest server, but this kind of rebalance is a much larger change that they can't do it without getting a huge amount of complaints.īut if we look at Balancing 2.0 and the overall goal of reestablishing a specific role for each tank class, increase the importance of armor plus making the combat less long range, what of these changes could be applied to Blitz? WoT PC, Console and Blitz are developed separately and balanced separately for a reason. How could Blitz benefit from Balancing 2.0 when it is made for PC which is a totally different game (m aps are much larger, there are arty, larger teams.)? Blitz doesn't need its own sandbox server, but I feel like it has already drifted too far away from its parent game, and I don't want it to miss out on some of the potentially great changes that could be made to the game such as Balancing 2.0 and such.įirst of all, Sandbox is all about testing Balancing 2.0, nothing else. Personally, I would very much like to see some of the developments made through the Sandbox server to be implemented in Blitz.
